​Preschool Room 3 to 5 year olds

Your 3- to 5 year-old child will continue to grow and develop in many ways in the coming year.  Children reach developmental milestones at different times most children will reach these milestones before kindergarten:

Answer simple questions, tell stories
Speak in complete sentences by age 4
Speak clearly

Kick, throw, and catch a ball
Run more confidently and ride a tricycle
Hop and stand on one foot for up to five seconds

Use Scissors correctly

Count and order correctly

Remember and repeat back parts of a story

Sort objects by shape and color

Show affection for families and friends

​Understand the concept of "mine" and "hers/his"

​Ability to label and somewhat understand emotions of anger, sadness, happiness

​At World of Wonderment  we pride ourselves on keeping children healthy, safe and happy! We provide daily activities to support each child's cognitive, physical, emotional, social and spiritual growth. Our curriculum is driven by the Ohio Department Of Education Early Learning Preschool Content Standards. Our lesson plans are posted weekly. Literacy is at the core of our lesson plans. Preparing our WOW kids for kindergarten is the priority! Parents receive daily feedback, monthly progress reports, as well as beautiful portfolios of their child's work. Partnering with parents to invest in their child's education is our passion!
